Hey Bobcats and families!
I hope this post is finding you safe and healthy. I have been working hard from home and I know you have been too! This Connected Learning from home is tricky! But I have confidence in all of you! And I miss you! I miss seeing all of you and sharing books and computers and other library stuff. So I thought I would remind/tell you about of a couple places you can go to find books to read from home! Those of you in 3rd grade and up might remember that we have e-books through MackinVIA. You can find the link to get there on our library catalog - The Magic Book on the Library Learning Commons page of our school website. (I have also put it below) We own around 400 books, but Mackin is letting us borrow the whole elementary school library for free! So now we have more than 5,000 books!!! I am sure some of this could keep you busy! There are non-fiction and fiction from Pre-K through 6th grade. Some of the books read-aloud to you (search for interactive) and some you can read yourself. We also have access through a few more great publishers to a ton more e-books! MackinVIA - School: New Boston Central School Username: nbcs Password: bobcat Capstone Publishing - Username: continue Password: reading Abdo Publishing - Username: ABDO Elementary , Password: 2020 Crabtree Publishing - Username: read Password: free Junior Library Guild - no username or password needed if accessing with a computer So enjoy books to your heart's content!
